Anderson, SC – The EC Men's golf team wrapped up the second and final day at the Anderson Invitational today. They made a comeback from sitting at tenth place yesterday to climbing the ladder and coming eighth in the tournament.
They finished with a combined score today of 314, and left the tournament with a combined score of the two days of 634. Finishing first for the EC team at seventh place was Senior Andrew Smith, followed by Jason Murphy and Drew Bryant both finishing off the tournament at thirty-four. Chris Dunlap, also played well by scoring a combined 162 and coming in at forty-two.
Congratulations to the Lions for stepping up their game today and finishing off strong. The Lions will return to the course at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate Tournament held in South Carolina on October 3rd.
