Box Score Travelers Rest, SC – At North Greenville University in Traveler's Rest, South Carolina, the Emmanuel College Lady Lions beat the Crusaders 70-59.
The Crusaders started the game off with a three-pointer by Haylee Luttrell. The Lions answered back with an easy basket by Breanna Locke. Several lead changes in the first quarter made a very intense game. The first quarter ended with the Lions in the lead 16-12.

The Lions held onto their lead for most of the second quarter until Luttrell tied the game with a free-throw to make the score 29-29 with 1:35 left in the first half. A good three-pointer by Lions' guard Mari Jonassen put them in the lead. The Crusaders responded with a three-pointer by Savannah Hughes. The final score of the first half was 32-32.

The Lady Lions came out strong in the third quarter and increased their lead 43-36. The Crusaders only had 8 points in the entire third quarter which made it difficult for them to recover from in the fourth quarter.

At the start of the fourth quarter, Breanna Locke scored a three-pointer to increase the Lions' lead to 13 points. With no substitutions in the entire second half, the Lions started showing signs of fatigue. Halfway through the fourth quarter, the Crusaders went on an 18-8 run which put them within 3 points of the Lions (61-58). The Lions continued to score and refused to let the Crusaders get a basket. The final score was 70-59.

The lead-scorer for the Lady Lions was Breanna Locke with a double-double of 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists. Jazmin Allen achieved a career high of 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists for the Lions. Overall, the Lady Lions outscored the Crusaders by going 47.3% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point line in comparison to the Crusaders with 35.7% from the field and 31.6% from the three-point line.
