Emmanuel College Athletics has issued an updated policy regarding outdoor sports for Spring 2021. These are baseball, softball, men's lacrosse, men's soccer, and women's soccer.  The athletic leadership at Emmanuel College has taken all aspects of outdoor sporting events when developing this policy in order to ensure the safety of spectators and athletes.

The policy for spectators attending outdoor athletic events at Emmanuel College stands to allow fans to be present, live, for all outdoor sporting events. The policy gives no limit to the amount of spectators that may be in attendance, however, in order to ensure physical distancing is practiced, bleachers will be closed and spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs/blankets/etc.

The policy also stands to require that all fans in attendance for outdoor athletic events must submit to mandatory screening upon arrival, as well as committing to wear a facial covering/mask at ALL TIMES. These updates have been implemented in order to ensure the safety of the community, visiting athletes, and Emmanuel athletes/students.

Emmanuel Athletics will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 and will update the policy as needed throughout the season. EC Athletics asks that all fans do their part to make this season a success by practicing physical and social distancing, wearing a mask, and being mindful of the safety of others. All athletic events will continue to be accessible via live stream on the Conference Carolinas Digital Network at https://conferencecarolinasdn.com/emmanuel/.Stay tuned to www.goeclions.com for further updates and upcoming games, schedules, and live streaming links.
