Dahlonega, GA – The Emmanuel College Men's Tennis Team traveled to the home of the Nighthawks for a Fall tournament.
In doubles events the Lions captured several wins. The duo composed by

Javier Crespo got the upper hand over Reinhardt's Sam Alexander / Jaiden Watts (6-4) and Belmont Abbey's Golindano / Lloveras (6-4). Juan Camilo Burgos /
Manav Sreekumar won against Belmont Abbey's Orozco / Buerkle (6-1) and North Georgia's Murillo / Ostap (6-3). The duo Hassan Badran / Diego Rodriguez had while facing Reinhardt's Zac Raughton / Federico Franco (6-2) and Said Santin / Mateo Aldaz (6-2) and Belmont Abbey's Orozco / Buerkle (6-2).
In Singles, EC was also well represented, starting with the Senior
Thembokwakhe Makhanya who earned wins against SCAD's Martinez (7-6, 6-2) and Reinhardt's Puig (7-6, 6-4).
Javier Crespo got a win while facing SCAD's Berry (6-1, 6-0). Hassan Badran had a win against Belmont Abbey's Orozco (6-2, 6-2). The Senior
Kornel Kimaszewski got a win over Reinhardt's Wassuf (6-3, 6-3). Joann Grosset won his match over Reinhardt's Squarcia (6-0, 6-2). The sophomore Diego Rodriguez had a very convincing win over Reinhardt's Aldaz (6-3 6-3). Senior Juan Camilo Burgos was able to capture his singles win over Reinhardt's Wassuf (6-2, 6-4). Lastly, junior
Munyaradzi Musanhu got his wins over Belmont Abbey's Matt Morant (6-1 6-0) and then Reinhardt's Roughton (7-5, 6-3).
Coming up next, Emmanuel will host the University of North Georgia Nighthawks as the last event for the Fall. First Serve is schedule for 1PM.
