Box Score Franklin Springs, GA - The Emmanuel Softball team defeated Limestone University 4-3 on Wednesday after taking the lead late in game 1. The game was tied at three with the Lions batting in the bottom of the seventh when Kya Santiago tripled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Emmanuel College Lions earned the victory despite allowing Limestone University to score three runs in the third inning. Limestone University's big inning was driven by a single by Audra Butler and a home run by Vic Brewington.

Kaitlyn Pickens earned the victory in the pitcher's circle for the Lions. The pitcher allowed seven hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out eight and walking zero.

Haley White took the loss for Limestone University. The hurler lasted seven innings, allowing eight hits and four runs while striking out three.

The Lions had eight hits in the game. Kya Santiago, Brighton Harder, and Isabelle Petty all managed multiple hits for the Lions. Isabelle Petty, Brighton Harder, and Kya Santiago each managed two hits to lead the Lions. Abbey Sims led the Lions with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases.

Limestone University collected seven hits. Butler and Brewington each collected multiple hits for Limestone University.
