Box Score Franklin Springs, GA - You couldn't have scripted a better Senior Night for this year's Senior Class of Brandon Simpson and Christian Lewis. The two seniors go to celebrate their Senior Night with a dominate 21-point victory, 90-68. This game was much like the Lions last couple games where they got off to a hot start and went into halftime with a 42-29 lead. However, the Lions did not take their foot off the gas this time going up by as much as 27 in the second half. 

The Lions had one of their best field goal percentages of this season going 33 for 61 (54%) from the field. They also shot 11 for 25 from deep (44%). This was the eighth time this season they've shot over 40% from beyond the arc as a team. Twelve different players scored a bucket for the Lions. 

The Lions got it done on the defensive end as well holding Mount Olive to just 43% from the field, and dominating the rebound margin 37 to 24. 

A trio of Lions reached double figures: 

Sophomore guard, KJ Jones II, led the Lions with 19 points. Going 9 for 10 from the charity stripe. He also grabbed down 7 rebounds and dished out 4 assists. 

Senior guard, Brandon Simpson, went out in a big way posting a season-high 18 points. Knocking down four three-pointers. He also had 7 rebounds, 4 of those were offensive. 

Sophomore forward, Michael Wright was very efficient dropping 16 point in 16 minutes of play. He went 6 for 7 from the field (83%) and 4 for 5 from deep (80%). 

The Lions will be back in action at the Shaw Athletic Center Tuesday, February 23 versus Southern Wesleyan at 4pm. This will be the last regular season game for the Lions.
