Central, SC—The Women's Basketball Lady Lions take on Conference Rival Southern Wesleyan University in Tysinger Gymnasium.

The Lions travelled to Central, SC to take on the Warriors after defeating them at home on February 9, 75-53.

Emmanuel quickly took the lead in the first quarter, scoring 23 points in the quarter while SWU scored only 8.

The Lion defense remained strong while the offense fought on in the second quarter. The Warriors could not overcome the Lions and scored only 7 on the defense in the second, Lions scoring 24 to end the half 47-15.

The second half was a bit more eventful as the Warriors came out of the locker room ready to take back their gym, scoring 15 in the third quarter. However, the Lions were relentless and remained steady, scoring 25 in the third period.

The final quarter was a good one for the Warriors, outscoring the Lions by a basket, 22-20. But the Lion lead was too large and the Warriors were unable to bridge the gap, resulting in a 92-52 win for the Lions, an amazing 40 point lead.

The Lions were led to victory by #23 Breanna Locke, scoring 19 points and securing 12 rebounds. Following closely behind Locke, #2 Jazmin Allen put 17 points on the Board for the Lions throughout the game, #21 Emily Dreslinski scored 11, and #33 Brooke Whitaker scored 9.

The leading scorers for the Warriors were #14 Lonesha Lee with 14 points, #3 Amy Soumare with 10, and #20 Sasha Schoenborn with 9.
