Game 1
Emmanuel College Lions watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 4-2 loss to King University on Friday. King University took the lead on a walk in the first inning.
King University got things moving in the first inning. Chelsea Sams drew a walk, scoring one run. Nikole Counts got the start for King University. The bulldog lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out four and walking one.

Emmanuel College Lions seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off grand slam at the end of the game to topple King University. Emmanuel College Lions was down 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning when
Abbey Sims homered on a 2-2 count, scoring four runs, her first grandslam.
In the second inning, King University got their offense started. Meagan Puckett singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
Sydney Blackmon was on the rubber for Emmanuel College Lions . The southpaw allowed seven hits and four runs over four and a third innings, striking out two and walking one.
Carly Turner was in the circle for King University. The hurler went six and two-thirds innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits, striking out seven and walking one.
