Hogan and Blackmon gives the Lions the Victory over the Bobcats

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Franklin Springs, GA - The Emmanuel College Lions took on Lees-McRae for another Conference Carolinas matchup. 

Game 1
A walk-off double led Emmanuel College Lions past Lees-McRae College 3-2 on Saturday. The game was tied at two with Emmanuel College Lions batting in the bottom of the eighth when Mackensie Hogan doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Kaitlyn Pickens struck out eight, while Charlsy Traylor sat down three.

Lees-McRae College got things moving in the second inning. Sarah Beth Thomas drew a walk, scoring one run.

Emmanuel College Lions knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the fifth inning. Kya Santiago singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run. Kaitlyn Pickens led things off in the pitcher's circle for Emmanuel College Lions . The righthander allowed eight hits and two runs over eight innings, striking out eight.

Traylor toed the rubber for Lees-McRae College. Traylor lasted seven and a third innings, allowing seven hits and three runs while striking out three and walking one.

Game 2
Sydney Blackmon didn't allow a single run as Emmanuel College Lions defeated Lees-McRae College 2-0 on Saturday. BLACKMON allowed just two hits.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Sydney Blackmon struck out four, while Raygan Rensing sat down one.
A single by Morgan Crowe in the sixth inning was a positive for Lees-McRae College.
Sydney Blackmon led things off in the circle for Emmanuel College Lions . The pitcher surrendered zero runs on two hits over seven innings, striking out four.
Rensing started the game for Lees-McRae College. Rensing lasted six innings, allowing seven hits and two runs while striking out one and walking zero.
