Despite seeing its seven-run lead whittled down by the end, Emmanuel College Lions still held off Chowan University for an 8-6 victory on Saturday. Chowan University scored four runs in the failed comeback on a fielder's choice by Serena Riley in the sixth and a double by Hannah Eden in the seventh.
