Game 2 -Â Lions Clinches Lead In Eighth Inning To Defeat King University
Emmanuel College Lions ran off with the lead late in the game in a 7-6 victory over King University on Saturday. The game was tied at six with Emmanuel College Lions batting in the bottom of the eighth when an error scored one run for Emmanuel College Lions .
Both pitching staffs had their hands full, frequently dealing with runners on base. Emmanuel College Lions collected 13 hits and King University had ten.
King University scored three runs in the seventh inning. King University scored its runs on a home run by Austin Meyer.
