Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Franklin Springs, GA --- The Emmauel Baseball concluded their season with a split win against King University, this brings their overall to 17-22 and 14-18 in conference.

Game 1 - Henle's Homerun was not enough to stop the Tornadoes 

Sam Stohr took the loss for Emmanuel College Lions . The southpaw allowed seven hits and three runs over four and a third innings, striking out four and walking one.

The Lions socked one home run on the day. Justin Henle had a four bagger in the sixth inning. Emmanuel College Lions tallied seven hits on the day.  Dylan Letellier and Henle each racked up multiple hits for Emmanuel College Lions.  Letellier led Emmanuel College Lions with three hits in three at bats.

King University saw the ball well today, racking up ten hits in the game.  Roper, Deric Graham, Junior Renwick, and Bennet McCann all collected multiple hits for King University.

Game 2 - Lions Clinches Lead In Eighth Inning To Defeat King University

Emmanuel College Lions ran off with the lead late in the game in a 7-6 victory over King University on Saturday. The game was tied at six with Emmanuel College Lions batting in the bottom of the eighth when an error scored one run for Emmanuel College Lions .

Both pitching staffs had their hands full, frequently dealing with runners on base. Emmanuel College Lions collected 13 hits and King University had ten.

King University scored three runs in the seventh inning. King University scored its runs on a home run by Austin Meyer.

Kyle Huechert was the winning pitcher for Emmanuel College Lions . Huechert lasted two and a third innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out four and walking one. Ben Hudson threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Nic Blankenship took the loss for King University. The hurler went one-third of an inning, allowing two runs on one hit, striking out one and walking zero.

Thomas Rutherford started the game for Emmanuel College Lions . The lefty lasted six innings, allowing eight hits and four runs while striking out two Braden White started the game for King University. The bulldog went four and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, striking out three and walking one

Emmanuel College Lions smacked one home run on the day. Tony Matos went for the long ball in the fifth inning.

Emmanuel College Lions tallied 13 hits.  Matos and Justin Henle each racked up multiple hits for Emmanuel College Lions .  Matos led Emmanuel College Lions with three hits in five at bats.
