Men's Tennis Tops Saints in Regional Match!
 
Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel College Men's wrapped up a busy Fall Season with a win at home today against the Truett McConnell Bears by a perfect 7-0. The Lions clinched the match without dropping a set.

SUMMARY
Doubles #1 Julio Lopes / Marcos Llorens played for the first time together in a 6-2 win.
Doubles #2 Hassan Badran / Parv Nage gave EC the doubles point in a flawless 6-0 set.
Doubles #3 Bo Kidd / Munyaradzi Musanhu completed the sweep in doubles with an also 6-0 victory.
Senior Hassan Badran proved to be too solid from the back of the court and dropped only one game in route of a 6-0 6-1 win.
Freshman Marcos Llorens made his debut for EC in closer first set before finding his best tennis by 6-4 6-0.
Freshman Bo Kidd also debuted today with a solid performance by 6-3 6-2.
Freshman Dorian Verrue extended the win count for the Lions by 8-1.
Freshman Alejandro Gomez never trailed in his 8-2 victory.
Senior Munyaradzi Musanhu sealed the deal today with a very solid 8-1 win.

Emmanuel will come back to action in the Spring when they will square off with NCAA D-I UNC Asheville!
