Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel College Men's Tennis hosted the visitors Atlantis University today.
In doubles play the Lions wasted no time and quickly captured wins on all courts. Starting with the pair formed Grosset / Benoit who earned a 6-2 win, followed by Makhanya / Crespo by also 6-2 and finally, Kimaszewski / Badran, who completed the sweep with a 6-3 victory.
After doubles, the Liions kept the momentum with the seniors leading the way, starting with
Javier Crespo earning the first point in singles action with a 6-3 6-1 win on court #3. Not too long after,
Kornel Kimaszewski had to go the distance to take down his opponent by 6-3 0-6 6-0. Lastly,
Thembokwakhe Makhanya clinched the overall match with a 7-5 7-5 victory.
The Lions will be back in action on Saturday, 02/26 @ 1PM when they will host the visiting Middle Georgia University Knights.
