Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel College Women's Tennis hosted the visitors Atlantis University today.
 
The Lady Lions earned a pair of wins in doubles play to get the doubles Point. First, on court #1 composed by Guerrero / Chistov by a solid 6-1 and then, on #2 with Gosh / Gonzalez by 7-5.
 
In Singles action, Emmanuel kicked off with a quick win on court #6 with the Junior, Zyanya Rogel with a 6-1 6-3 win. Next, the Freshman, Soleny Gonzalez had to work with an aggressive and defensive game to capture a 6-1 7-6 (4) victory. Lastly, Shatavisa Ghosh went the distance and clinched the overall win for EC by 6-3 3-6 6-3
 
The Lady Lions will be back in action on Saturday, 02/23 @ 3PM when they will serve as host for the visiting Lander University Bobcats.
