Box Score Bristol, TN – The Emmanuel College Men's Tennis Team traveled to King University for another conference commitment this Friday. 
 
The Lions dominated the doubles matches right at the start of the contest: on court #1 Joan Grosset / Nathan Benoit by 6-3, on court #2 Thembo Makhanya / Javier Crespo leading by 6-3, and lastly, on court #3 Kornel Kimaszewski / Juan Camilo Burgos by 6-2.
 
In singles, EC earned 5 more points today. First, on court #1, the senior Thembo Makhanya, who had to work extra on the second set but still grabbing a straight sets win today by 6-2 7-6. Next, Hassan Badran trailed in the second set 5-2 but came back with a 6-4 7-6 win. The clinching match happened on court #5 with Juan Camilo Burgos finding little trouble with a solid performance today by 6-1 6-1. On court #2, Nathan Benoit was another Lion who had to face and win a tie breaker today in route of a 6-3 7-6 victory. Lastly, Joan Grosset sealed the day by 6-3 6-2.
