Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel College Women's Tennis Team hosted the visiting Chowan University Hawks in a conference Carolinas match today. 
 
The Lady Lions controlled all the doubles matches today: First, on court #1 Alejandra Guerrero / Darja Chistov did not drop a game in route of a 6-0 win. Soleny Gonzalez / Shatavisa Ghosh are still undefeated in conference matches with another come back from a break down to a 6-4 win.
 
In singles, Emmanuel earned 4 extra points: First, the sophomore, Alejandra Guerrero on court #1, finished the day without losing a game with 6-0 6-0 win. Darja Chistov, extended the win with a solid 6-0 6-3 victory. On court #2 Soleny Gonzalez clinched the overall win for the EC by 6-0 6-3, remaining undefeated in league matches. Shatavisa Ghosh finished the sweep for Emmanuel with an 8-0 win. 
 
Coming up next, Emmanuel will travel to Lees McRae College, continuing their conference schedule.
