Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel College Men's Tennis Team closed out the regular season this afternoon with a home match against Converse University.

Nathan Benoit with a close set for the lions, 7-5, and on court #3
Kornel Kimaszewski / Juan Camilo Burgos by 6-3.
The 1-0 lead gave EC the momentum to push forward and earn 5 additional points during singles play. First, on court #1, the senior Thembo Makhanya, moved his opponent around the court in a very solid match to win by 6-3 6-3.
Kornel Kimaszewski controlled the match with a very aggressive game style to put EC a point away from the overall win with a straight sets win by 6-4 6-2.
Javier Crespo clinched for the Emmanuel in a solid performance by 6-3 6-3. Hassan Badran gave an extra point for the Lions on court #4 with a very convencing win by 8-2. Lastly, the senior Juan Camilo Burgos stretched the scoreboard for the Lions with an 8-6 win.
Coming up next, The Emmanuel College Men's Tennis will travel to Sumter, SC for the Conference Carolinas Championships.
