Franklin Springs, GA - Emmanuel University's men's tennis team delivered a stellar performance in an intense matchup against Anderson University securing a resounding 5-2 victory!

From the very start, the doubles competition set the stage for an electrifying contest. Emmanuel University's dynamic duo, Henrique Castro and Murilo Gracio, demonstrated their prowess by claiming victory in the #1 Doubles match in their first ever dual contest at the college level.

The singles matches were equally thrilling, with each player showcasing their skills and determination. In the #2 Singles showdown, Henrique Castro of Emmanuel University emerged victorious against Vicent Mico Fenollar, further bolstering their lead. Patrick Cronin from Anderson University put up a valiant effort in the #4 Singles match but was bested by Emmanuel's Aleksander Simovski.

The #1 Singles bout was a hard-fought battle, with JP Goncalves Mendes of Anderson University displaying exceptional tennis, although it was James Girdler from Emmanuel University who ultimately clinched the victory. Collignon Mathis of Anderson University secured a win in the #3 Singles match against Murilo Gracio from Emmanuel University.

Parv Nage of Anderson University delivered an impressive performance in the #5 Singles match, securing another win for Emmanuel University.

The overall order of finish for the matches was 5, 3, 1, 2, 4, 6, showcasing the consistency and determination of Emmanuel University's team.

The Lions will be back in action in a few days at the home of Truett McConnell University for another Dual Match this Fall!
