Bronner Named Scholar Athlete of the Month!

11/3/2023 8:48:00 AM

Speak life into yourself.

When Emmanuel senior, Miracle Bronner feels overwhelmed or like she wants to give up, this is what she'll do.

"When I wake up or go to sleep, I speak life into myself," she said. "I give it all to God and it puts me at ease."

When she's not in class or student-teaching at Franklin County High School, the English major spends her time at practice with the Emmanuel Acrobatics and Tumbling team, working one of her two jobs, or spending time with her son.

Miracle had no cheer or gymnastics experience when she arrived at Emmanuel but has loved being a part of the Acro team!

"Acrobatics and Tumbling is a combination of cheer and gymnastics," she said. "My role is a base, so I get to base pyramids, hold tops, and base tosses! I am ground bound, and my goal for the season is to learn new skills and become stronger in and out of the gym."

For Miracle, the load can be exhausting at times, but she's learned how to juggle her time wisely.

"You just have to keep moving," she said. "It can be tiring, but I know the end goal will be rewarding. Whenever I have down-time at home or work, I spend it getting ahead on my assignments, doing anything I can get my hands on!"

Her hard work and dedication to her studies is paying off, as she continues to maintain straight A's!

Following graduation, Miracle hopes to become a middle school English teacher.

"That's where I got my first teaching experience," she said. "I know everyone says middle school is tough, but I loved it. The 7th graders were sweet, it was a perfect balance, and they stole my heart."

Congratulations, Miracle on being named the October Scholar Athlete of the Month!
