FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA – It was Senior Day on Saturday for the Emmanuel Swimming Lions. Eight seniors were honored prior to the Lions meet against Point University. In the meet, the Lions swam strong, earning a 167-16 victory.
A few highlights of the meet were –
- In the 200 Yard Medley Relay, Emmanuel's Relay A team of sophomore, Isabell Schiller, junior, Leticia Dias, and senior, Susana Ungo took first with a seed time of 1:47.03.
- In the 1000-yard freestyle, sophomore, Reilly Allman placed first with a time of 10:57.57
- In the 200-yard freestyle, junior Alex Cerbino placed first with a time of 1:55.68
- In the 400-yard IM, senior Susana Ungo placed first with a time of 4:32.45
- In the 100-yard butterfly, sophomore, Marcela Alonso took first with a time of 57.16
- In the 100-yard freestyle, junior Alex Cerbino placed first with a time of 52.47.
- In the 100-yard backstroke, senior Sofiia Briantseva placed first with a time of 1:02.16
- In the 500-yard freestyle, sophomore Reilly Allman placed first with a time of 5:16.29
- In the 100-yard breaststroke, senior Aubrey Ortman placed first with a time of 1:14.22
- In the 200-yard freestyle relay, Emmanuel's Relay A team of Cerbino, Schiller, and Ungo placed first with a time of 1:36.67.
