Box Score Banner Elk, NC – The Emmanuel Men's Tennis team traveled to Banner Elk, NC today to take on Lees McRae College in Conference Carolinas play. The Lions got off to a strong start, winning 2-3 doubles matches to earn the point and continued their strong play, winning 4 of 6 matches to earn the 5-2 win. With the win, the Lions improve to 7-4 on the season and 2-0 in conference action.
 
DOUBLES PLAY –

1. At #1 doubles, Murilo Gracio/James Girdler (EMMT) def. M. Borisov/ C. Gibson (LMCM) 6-2. 
2. At #2 doubles, A. Tallafigo/A. Kunaka (LCMC) def. Georg Stettler/Aleksander Simovski (EMMMT) 6-3. 
3. At #3 doubles, Julio Polesi Lopes/Henrique Castro (EMMMT) def. E. Arce/ H. Hoskins (LMCM) 6-4.

3. At #3 singles, Henrique Castro (EMMMT) def. E. Arce (LMCM) 6-1. 6-3.
