Box Score Bristol, TN – The Emmanuel Men's Tennis team traveled to Bristol, TN today to take on the King University Tornado in conference action. The Lions got off to a strong start, taking 2-3 doubles matches to earn the point. They continued their strong play in singles, earning wins on 4 of 6 courts to take the match, 5-2. With the win, the Lions improve to 8-4 on the season, 3-0 in Conference Carolinas. 
 
DOUBLES PLAY –  

1. At #1 Doubles, Murilo Gracio/James Girdler (EMM) def. A. Sodre/M. Vieira (KING) 6-4. 
2. At #2 Doubles, R. Halcrow/I. Yang (KING) def. Aleksander Simovski/Georg Stettler (EMM) 7-5.
3. At #3 Doubles, Henrique Castro/Julio Polesi Lopes won by default.

 
SINGLES PLAY – 

1. At #1 Singles, Murilo Gracio (EMM) def. R. Halcrow (KING) in three sets. Gracio took the first, 6-1 before falling in the second, 7-5, and wining the third, 6-2. 
2. At #2 Singles, A. Sodre (KING) def. James Girdler (EMM) in three sets. Girdler won the first, 6-3 before falling in the final two sets, 6-4, 6-3. 
3. In #3 Singles, I. Yang (KING) def. Georg Stettler (EMM) 6-4, 6-1.
4. In #4 Singles, Aleksander Simovski (EMM) def. M. Vieria (KING) 6-1, 6-4. 
5. At #5 Singles, Alejandro Gomez (EMM) def. T. Meade (KING) 6-1, 6-2.
6. At #6 Singles, Bo Kidd (EMM) won by default.
