Box Score Tigerville, SC -The Emmanuel Men's Tennis team traveled to Tigerville, SC today to take on North Greenville in conference action. The Crusaders got off to a strong start, taking the doubles point but the Lions roared back to win 5 of 6 singles matches to take the win, 5-2! With the win, the Lions improve to 11-5 overall, 5-1 in conference play. 
 
DOUBLES PLAY –
 

1. At #1 Doubles, C. Timini/J. Arbelaez (NGU) def. Murilo Gracio/James Girdler (EU) 6-2. 
2. At #2 Doubles, W. Hernandez/A. Cassini (NGU) def. Georg Stettler/Aleksander Simovski (EU) 7-5. 
3. At #3 Doubles, J. Silva/G.Pegoraro(NGU) def. Julio Lopes Polesi/Henrique Castro (EU) 6-4.

 
SINGLES PLAY – 

1. At #1 Singles, Murilo Gracio (EU) def. C. Timini (NGU) in three sets, winning the first 7-5, losing the second, 7-5, and winning the third, 6-3. 
2. At #2 Singles, James Girdler (EU) def. J. Silva (NGU) in three sets, losing the first, 6-4 then taking the next two, 6-3, 6-2. 
3. At #3 Singles, Henrique Castro (EU) def. G. Pegoraro in three sets, losing the first, 6-2 then taking the next two, 7-5, 6-3.
4. At #4 Singles, Georg Stettler (EU) def. W. Hernandez (NGU) 6-4, 6-1. 
5. At #5 Singles, J. Arbelaez (NGU) def. Aleksander Simovski (EU) in three sets, taking the first, 6-1 before losing the second, 7-5, and winning the third, 6-2. 
6. At #6 Singles, Alejandro Gomez (EU) def. A. Cassini (NGU) in three sets, winning the first, 7-6, losing the second, 6-3 and winning the third, 6-3.
