Box Score Columbia, SC – The Emmanuel Men's Tennis team traveled to Columbia, SC today to take on Benedict College in non-conference play. The Lions got off to a fast start earning the doubles point, then went onto win 5 of 6 singles matches to take the win, 6-1.

3. At #3 Doubles, Marcos Llorens/Matheus Pimenta (EU) def. R. Ngwarwi/J.Bokknight (BC) by WO.

 
SINGLES PLAY

1. At #1 Singles, M. Chigaazira (BC) def. Murilo Gracio (EU) in three sets, winning the first 6-3, losing the second, 6-3, and winning the tiebreaker 10-8. 
2. At #2 Singles, Henrique Castro (EU) def. J. Chigaazira (BC) 7-5, 6-3.
3. At #3 Singles, Aleksander Simovski (EU) def. D. Singh (BC) 6-2, 6-3.
4. At #4 Singles, Alejandro Gomez (EU) def. A. Kwirirai (BC) winning the first, 6-2, losing the second set, 6-0, then taking the tiebreaker 10-3.
5. At #5 Singles, Julio Lopes Polesi (EU) def. R. Ngwarwi (BC) 6-2, 6-0. 
6. At #6 Singles, Bo Kidd won via WO.
