Greenville, SC – The Emmanuel Men's Cross-Country team began their 2024 season tonight under the lights at the Bruins Night Classic hosted at Bob Jones University. 
 
The Lions finished the race in 5^th place as a team with 115 points. 
 
Freshman, Robbie Woods led the way for the Lions finishing the 6K in 21:50.4 for a 17^th place finish. Freshman, Tyler Johnson finished the race in 20^th place with a time of 21:57. His teammate, freshman, Zaylen Alexander finished .02 seconds behind, with a time of 21:57.2 for 21^st place. 
 
Emmanuel's Demont'e Davis ended the meet in 26^th place with a time of 22:25.4, with Ben Hardman finishing with a time of 23:00.2 for 31^st place, and Kemarion Thomas placing 32^nd with a time of 23:08.6. 
 
Next up, the Lions will travel to Huntsville, AL for the Southern Showcase on September 13.
