Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel Women's Wrestling team hosted Emory & Henry University in conference action last night. The Lady Lions got off to a quick start and took care of business against the Wasps, winning 48-0. With the win, the Lions move to 20-4 on the season. 
HIGHLIGHTS – 

• In the 117lb. weight class, Karissa Turnwall won via fall (1:20). 
• In the 138lb. weight class, Sofia Vergara won via tech fall (10-0, 2:19). 
• In the 145lb. weight class, Kendra Heroch won via fall (1:00). 
• In the 160lb. weight class, Jocelyn Yepez won via fall (0:51). 
• In the 180lb weight class, Alyssa Arana won via tech fall (10-0, 0:41). 
• In the 207lb. weight class, Gemma Templeman won via fall (1:57). 

Up next, the Lions will travel to Frostburg, MD to compete in the Frostburg State Open on Saturday, February 1.
