Sewanee, TN – The Emmanuel Men's Swimming team traveled to Sewanee, TN over the weekend to open their season at the Sewanee Relay Meet hosted by Sewanee: The University of the South. The Lions swam fast, winning 8 of 9 races and scoring a total of 112 points to earn a 1^st place finish. 
At the meet, the Lions earned wins against Montevallo (124-90) , Centre College (124-88), Sewanee (124-92), UT Southern (124-50) and Brenau (124-4) to move to 5-0 on the season. 

RESULTS 

1. In the 200 Medley Relay, the Emmanuel team of Noah Pruwer, Maximiliano Benitez, Leonardo Medeiros, and Jakub Mecner finished 1^st with a time of 1:35.07. 
2. In the 200 Back Relay, the Emmanuel team of Hayden Lester, Jan Michalak, Mecner, and Pruwer finished 1^st with a time of 1:37.55. 
3. In the 200 Breast Relay, the Emmanuel team of Benitez, Michalak, Pruwer and Medeiros finished 1^stwith a time of 1:48.82. 
4. In the 500 Free Relay, the Emmanuel team of Mecner, Medeiros, Mauricio Arias, and Arda Hulagu finished 1^st with a time of 4:07.90. 
5. In the 200 Fly Relay, the Emmanuel team of Pruwer, Medeiros, Michalak and Lester finished 1^st with a time of 1:35.29.
6. In the 3x500 Free Relay, the Emmanuel team of Yagiz Ari, Hulagu, and Arias finished 1^st with a time of 14:51.71. 
7. In the 400 Medley Relay, the Emmanuel team of Benitez, Michalak, Pruwer, and Medeiros finished 1^stwith a time of 3:35.84. 
8. In the 200 Free Relay, the Emmanuel team of Arias, Pruwer, Medeiros, and Mecner finished 1^st with a time of 1:26.87.

 
Next up, the Lions will host Berry College, University of Montevallo, Converse University and Brenau at the Robert Roberson Aquatic Center on Saturday at 11AM.
