Sewanee, TN – The Emmanuel Women's Swimming team traveled to Sewanee, TN over the weekend to open their season at the Sewanee Relay Meet hosted by Sewanee: The University of the South. The Lions swam fast, winning 6 races and scoring a total of 102 points to earn a 1^st place overall finish.
At the meet, the Lions earned wins against Montevallo (114-82), Centre College (114-90), Sewanee (114-80), UT Southern (114-10) and Brenau (114-76) to move to 5-0 on the season. 

RESULTS 

1. In the 200 Medley Relay, the Emmanuel team of Darielys Ortiz, Isabell Schiller, Marcela Alonso, and Isabella Hernandez finished 1^st with a time of 1:50.37.
2. In the 200 Breast Relay, the Emmanuel team of Ortiz, Schiller, Hernandez, and Zoe Anthony finished 1^st with a time of 2:10.94. 
3. In the 500 Free Relay, the Emmanuel team of Alonso, Schiller, Hernandez, and Zofia Taraszkiewicz finished 1^st with a time of 4:45.85.
4. In the 200 Fly Relay, the Emmanuel team of Ortiz, Alonso, Anthony and Schiller finished 1^st with a time of 1:47.17.
5. In the 3x500 Relay, the Emmanuel team of Rica Botz, Hernandez and Schiller placed 2^nd with a time of 16:37.48. 
6. In the 400 Medley Relay, the Emmanuel team of Ortiz, Hernandez, Anthony and Schiller finished 1^stwith a time of 4:09.09. 
7. In the 200 Free Relay, the Emmanuel team of Ortiz, Hernandez, Alonso, and Schiller finished 1^st with a time of 1:39.50.

Next up, the Lions will host Berry College, University of Montevallo, Converse University and Brenau at the Robert Roberson Aquatic Center on Saturday for the Emmanuel Fall Invitational at 11AM.
