Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel Women's Swimming team hosted five regional teams, including three Conference Carolinas opponents today at the Robert Roberson Aquatic Center for the Emmanuel Fall Invite. The Lions ended the meet in 2^nd, behind reigning Conference Carolinas Champion, UNC Pembroke. 

The Lions fell to Pembroke 182-78 but defeated Berry College (161-91), University of Montevallo (150-105), Converse University (167-93) and Brenau University (154-107) to move to 9-1 on the season.

RESULTS

• In the 200 Medley Relay, the Lions took 2^nd behind UNC Pembroke with a time of 1:48.99.
• In the 1000 Free, Emmanuel's Isabella Hernandez finished 3^rd with a time of 10:44.54.
• In the 200 Free, Hernandez took 2^nd with a time of 1:56.09.
• In the 200 Fly, Isabell Schiller took 3^rd with a time of 2:08.04 while Marcela Alonso took 4^th with a time of 2:13.98. 
• In the 50 free, Darielys Ortiz finished 4^th with a time of 24.76. 
• In the 100 free, Ortiz finished 2^nd with a time of 54.01.
• In the 200 Back, Isabell Schiller took 1^st with a time of 2:07.28.
• In the 500 Free, Isabella Hernandez finished 2^nd with a time of 5:13.98.

Next, the Lions will travel to Mars Hill, NC to face the Mars Hill University Lions on November 1^st at 11AM.
