CLEVELAND, GA – The Emmanuel Men's Tennis team traveled to Cleveland, GA to face the Truett McConnell University Bears yesterday. The Lions took an early lead, winning the doubles point. Emmanuel continued their momentum into singles play, winning 5 of 6 matches to win the match, 6-1! With the win, the Lions improve to 3-0, ending the fall season undefeated.

- At #3 Doubles, Ben Perry/Eben Gunyon (EU) def. L. Hernandez/P. Heins (TMU) 6-3.
SINGLES PLAY
- At #1 Singles, Tawana Senah (EU) def. K. Stanfield (TMU) 6-0, 6-1.
- At #2 Singles, Shumpei Kamiyama (EU) def. D. Niella (TMU) 6-0, 6-0.
- At #3 Singles, Mateus Pimenta (EU) def. J. Diaz (TMU) 6-2, 6-4.
- At #4 Singles, Matteo Hofstetter (EU) def. R. Stewart (TMU) 6-1, 6-2.
- At #5 Singles, Eben Gunyon (EU) def. C. Cook (TMU) 7-5, 6-4.
- At #6 Singles, Ben Perry (EU) fell to L. Hernandez (TMU) winning the first set, 6-5 but falling in the final two, 6-4, 1-0.
Next, the Lions travel to Clinton, SC to face Presbyterian College on January 20
