Miami, FL - - - Day one of the USA Triathlon Men's Collegiate Club National Championships kicked off with the Draft-Legal Sprint race, where the top 75 collegiate male triathletes in the country (combined NCAA Div. I, II, & III) went head-to-head. Today's race, a draft legal sprint distance triathlon (750-meter swim, 20K bike, 5K run), took place on the grounds of the Miami Motor Speedway.

Two Emmanuel University freshmen compete in the race. Oskaras Grigonis was the top EU finisher, finishing 12th overall in 54:33, followed closely by teammate Noah Pruwer in 14th place with a time of 54:49. Both lions broke the former EU sprint triathlon school record (1:03:10) by over 8 minutes!
