Belmont, NC – The Emmanuel Women's Tennis team traveled to Belmont, NC to face the Belmont Abbey Crusaders in their conference finale. The Lions jumped out ahead winning the doubles point, but dropped in Singles play to fall 6-1. With the loss, the Lions fall to 2-15 on the season, 0-8 in conference action. 

DOUBLES PLAY

• At #1 Doubles, Shatavisa Ghosh/Franziska Wolter (EU) def. H. Riner/M.McCarthy (BAC) 6-4.
• At #2 Doubles, Tawana Senah/Anna Goncalves (EU) def. E. Vollmin/L.Sanchez (BAC) 7-6. 
• The Crusaders earned the win at #3 Doubles by default.

 
SINGLES PLAY

• At #1 Singles, Shatavisa Ghosh (EU) fell to F. Hendricks (BAC) 6-1, 6-0. 
• At #2 Singles, Tawana Senah (EU) fell to K. Nguyen (BAC) by injury withdraw. 
• At #3 Singles, Anna Goncalves (EU) fell to H. Riner (BAC) 6-4, 6-0. 
• At #4 Singles, Franziska Wolter (EU) fell to A. Burkhalter (BAC) 6-4, 6-3. 
• At #5 Singles, Emma Auger (EU) fell to R. Collyer (BAC) 6-1, 6-2.
• The Crusaders won the #6 Singles match by default.
