Franklin Springs, GA- The Emmanuel Women's Tennis team hosted Young Harris in conference play today. The Lions took an early lead earning the doubles point, then went onto lose 5 of 6 singles matches to earn a 6-1 victory. With the loss, the Lions fall to 2-13 on the season, 0-6 in conference play. 

DOUBLES PLAY 

• At #1 Doubles, Shatavisa Ghosh/Franziska Wolter (EU) def. S. Mercier/F. Saito (YHC) 6-4. 
• At #2 Doubles, Tawana Senah/Anna Goncalves (EU) def. H. Ashford/M. Scholten (YHC) 6-1. 
• The Mountain Lions won the #3 Doubles match by default. 

SINGLES PLAY 

• At #1 Singles, Shatavisa Ghosh (EU) fell to S. Mercier (YHC) 6-3, 6-4. 
• At #2 Singles, Tawana Senah (EU) fell to M. Scholten (YHC) 7-5, 6-2. 
• At #3 Singles, Anna Goncalves (EU) fell to V. Gomez (YHC) 6-4, 6-1. 
• At #4 Singles, F. Saito (YHC) def. Franziska Wolter (EU) 8-3. 
• At #5 Singles, C. Stanfield (YHC) def. Emma Auger (EU) 6-0, 6-1. 
• The Mountain Lions won the #6 Singles match by default.
