SPARTANBURG, SC – The Emmanuel Men's Cross-Country team started the season strong at the Bruins Night XC Classic hosted by Bob Jones University. 
The Lions placed 5^th out of 13 teams in the 6K race, with an average pace of 21:01. Three Lions placed in the top 25, with freshmen, Angel Aviles leading the way with a 17^th place finish at 20:28 and Brando Araujo finishing in 23^rd place with a time of 20:38.

The Lions will be back in action on September 19^th at Brevard College for the Second Annual Brevard XC Classic.
