Franklin Springs, GA – The #33 ranked, Emmanuel Men's Tennis team hosted Georgia College this afternoon in regional action. The Lions jumped out to an early lead, taking the doubles point and swept the Bobcats by winning all six singles matches to earn the 7-0 victory. With the win, the Lions improve to 7-3 on the season.

- At #1 Singles, James Girdler (Emmanuel) rallied back to defeat C. Martin (GCSU) in three sets. Girdler fell 7-6 in set one before taking the final two, 7-5, 1-0 (10-7).
- At #2 Singles, Murilo Martins (Emmanuel) def. J. Andergassen (GCSU) 6-2, 6-4.
- At #3 Singles, Aleksander Simovski (Emmanuel) def. F. O'Neil (GCSU) 6-2, 6-2.
- At #4 Singles, Henrique Castro (Emmanuel) def. B. Wright in three sets. After falling 6-4 in the first, Castro won the next two 7-6, 1-0 (10-5).
- At #5 Singles, Shumpei Kamiyama (Emmanuel) def. M. Guimaraes (GCSU) 6-2, 6-3.
- At #6 Singles, Matheus Pimenta (Emmanuel) def. R. Bissell (GCSU) 6-4, 6-2.
Next, the Lions will travel to Bristol, TN to face King University on Saturday at 2PM.
