Evansville, IN- On the final day of the 2026 NCAA DII Swimming & Diving National Championship the Lions made a splash.
Senior, Isabel Schiller competed in two events today, the 200 Backstroke and the 200 Breaststroke. Joining her in the 200 Breaststroke was teammate,
Catalina Acacio.Â
Acacio came into the day as the 17
th seed in the 200 Breaststroke but swam well in prelims to qualify for tonight's finals as the 6-seed with a prelim time of 2:15.59. Schiller swam strong to qualify for the finals in the 200 Breaststroke, seeded 16
th with a time of 2:17.32.
In the finals, Acacio swam strong to earn an 8
th place finish with a time of 2:15.78 to earn First Team All-American status.
