Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel Women's Beach Volleyball team hosted four teams today at the Emmanuel Beach Volleyball courts. The Lions opened up their day with a conference match against Erskine, falling to the Flying Fleet 4-1 before rallying to defeat Truett McConnell University 3-2.
ERSKINE 4, LIONS 1
The Lions opened up their day with a match against the Erskine College Flying Fleet. The match was competitive from the start, with pairs 3 and 5 going three sets, and the Lions earning the win at #4 Doubles, but the Fleet came away with a 4-1 win.

TRUETT MCCONNELL 2, LIONS 3
Next, the Lions faced regional competition in the Truett McConnell University Bears. The match was competitive with two pairs going to three sets, but the Lions came out on top, earning wins at 1, 3, and 5 to take the match, 3-2.

The Lions will be back in action on Friday at home as they host Carson Newman University (8AM), LaGrange College (12PM) and Colorado Mesa University (2PM).
