Gulfport, MS - - - Day one of the USA Triathlon Women's Collegiate Club National Championships kicked off with the Draft-Legal Sprint race, where the top 75 collegiate female triathletes in the country went head-to-head. Today's race, a draft legal sprint distance triathlon (750-meter swim, 20K bike, 5K run), took place in the Gulf of America and on the grounds of the Gulfport Municipal Marina.
 
Two Emmanuel University freshmen delivered strong performances: 
Mayte Mopsita finished 35^th in 1 hour 17 minutes 46 seconds
Oratile Muthaphuli finished 46^th in 1 hour 22 minutes 26 seconds
