Belmont, NC – The Emmanuel Women's Tennis team traveled to Belmont, NC to face Belmont Abbey College in conference action. The Crusaders took the doubles point and went onto sweep singles action to take the win, 7-0.

DOUBLES PLAY

• At #1 Doubles, Tawana Senah/Anna Goncalves (Emmanuel) fell to H. Riner/M. McCarthy (BAC) 6-4.
• At #2 Doubles, Franziska Wolter/Anhelina Zmushko (Emmanuel) fell to A. Burkhalter/K. Nguyen (BAC) 7-6, 9-7.
• At #3 Doubles, Emmanuel withdrew.

SINGLES PLAY

• At #1 Singles, Tawana Senah (Emmanuel) fell to K. Nguyen (BAC) 6-4, 6-2.
• At #2 Singles, Anna Goncalves (Emmanuel) fell to A. Burkhalter (BAC) 6-2, 6-0. 
• At #3 Singles, Anhelina Zmushko (Emmanuel) fell to H. Riner (BAC) 6-2, 7-6.
• At #4 Singles, Franziska Wolter (Emmanuel) fell to M. McCarthy (BAC) 6-3, 6-2.
• At #5 Singles, Emma Auger (Emmanuel) fell to R. Collyer (BAC) 6-0, 6-0. 

 
The Lions will be back in action on March 14 as they travel to Bristol, TN to face King University.
