DAVIDSON, NC – The Emmanuel Women's Triathlon team traveled to Davidson, NC on Sunday to compete in the Lake Davidson Sprint Cup.
Ten teams competed in the race, with the Lions earning a spot on the podium with a 3
rd place finish. This was the program's first ever podium finish in this race, placing behind #1 ranked, Wingate University and NCAA DI, Queens University.

Emmanuel sophomore, Daniela Lincango led the Lions as the top Emmanuel finisher. She finished the sprint-triathlon race in 1 hour 3 minutes, 23 seconds which was a 4-minute improvement from last year's race.
Five Lady Lions competed in the event, all finishing in the top 30.
