2019-2020: Redshirted this year and due to COVID-19 post season ended early. Kayla went 3-2 at the US Open and won the MVC, North Central, and NUWAY Opens finished 4^th at Bearcat Open and had a record of 16-2 on the season. 
2018-2019: Finished 4^th at the WCWA national tournament and had a 40-4 record in the season. In the off season finished 4^th at the US Open and 3^rd at U-23 World Team Trials and qualified for the Sr World Team Trials.
2017-2018: Finished the season with a 3^rd place finish at the WCWA national tournament and qualified for the JR PanAms for the US and finished 2^nd going 34-7 on the season.
High School: Was a 4-year letter winner for Sapulpa and Jefferson High School. Coached by Doug Thurmond.
2x GA Women’s State Champion, USAW National Freestyle & Folkstyle Champion, 5x USAW freestyle All-American, Cadet World Medalist. Kayla is the daughter of Kristie Marano/Davis USAW most decorated women’s wrestler with 9 world medals. She also likes to read and go hiking.
