Alex Young brings valuable NCAA Division II playing and coaching experience to the lacrosse field. Young began her collegiate coaching career at Limestone University, serving as a graduate assistant from 2022–2024. During her time with the Saints, she helped the program capture a conference championship while contributing to the development of several All-Conference, All-Region and All-American student-athletes.
Young later joined the Anderson University women’s lacrosse coaching staff, continuing to build her experience in player development, recruiting and program operations. Her coaching approach is centered on strong communication, accountability and creating a competitive environment where student-athletes can grow both on and off the field.
Before entering the coaching profession, Young was a four-year member of the Limestone women’s lacrosse program. She helped the Saints win multiple conference championships and make NCAA Tournament appearances during her playing career. Originally from Orangeville, Ontario, Young brings a championship background, a strong knowledge of the game and a passion for developing student-athletes.

Alex will be a great addition to our culture because she values relationships, accountability and competing for something bigger than yourself. She understands what it means to love each other, build green and consistently work to move the program forward.”
