Scott Davidson

Scott Davidson of Newarthill, Scotland, enters his first year asthe Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Emmanuel College.

Before coming to the states, Davidson played three years atHamilton Academicals F.C. in the Scottish 2nd and 3rd divisions. Heplayed at Bryan College from 2004-07, scoring 47 goals in 61 games,culminating with his selection as a National Soccer CoachesAssociation of America (NSCAA), Adidas, and National ChristianCollege Athletic Association (NCCAA) Men's Division I All-Americanin 2007. During his time at Bryan, Davidson played four years inthe Professional Development league for Sioux Falls Spitfire,Spokane Spiders, and two years at the Nashville Metros.

After graduating from Bryan, Davidson went on to work as anassistant coach with the men's soccer program for two seasons.During which Bryan had a record of 22-13-2, and went to the NAIAnational Championship in 2009. In 2010 Davidson moved to TreveccaNazarene University and worked as an assistant coach for theTrevecca woman's soccer program (2010-2012). Davidson then moved toGeorgia to take up a coaching position at Truett-McConnell College,where he spent the 2014 season as the assistant men's soccer coachand head JV coach.

Coach Davidson earned his BA in Communications from BryanCollege (2008) as well as his Masters in Teaching K-6 from Trevecca(2013). Davidson currently holds his NSCAA Advanced NationalDiploma, NSCAA GK level II Diploma, and USSF National DLicense.

He lives in Cornelia, Ga. with wife, Kristen and daughter,Athena.
