The Emmanuel Ladies Basketball Team continued their fast start of this season with their fourth win in a row at home on Saturday.

The ladies defeated Bob Jones University by a score of 59-42.
The ladies jumped out to an early lead in the first half with a strong and active defensive effort holding Bob Jones to only 14 points in the first half. To add to that effort the ladies were shooting on all cylinders connecting on four three point baskets and matching that with some stellar inside scoring to go into halftime with a score of 34-14 and a twenty point advantage. The second half was a combination of both teams matching baskets until the conclusion of the contest and the end of the game.

Sophmore Elise Coberly led all scorers with 24 points, followed by Senior Ashley Skelton with 12 points. Elise also had 8 rebounds followed by Senior Skye Rogers with 8 boards. The next game for our ladies will be on Tuesday November 25 at North Greenville University in Tigerville SC. with a 5:30pm. tip off. Go Lions!
