FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga—The Lions Men's Volleyball team fell to the Flying Fleet of Erskine College for their home opener on Tuesday night.

The Flying Fleet took the first two sets without much struggle, winning both 25-17. The Lions were able to hang with the Flying Fleet in the third set, having the set tied at 20. The Flying Fleet were able to go on a run and win the set 25-21 and winning the match.

Alex Barbosa led the Lions in kills with seven. Steven Peruyero added five kills, hitting 0.455. Enrique Larach dished out 19 assists and led the team with seven digs. Meshach McKnight added six digs.

The Lions continue with Conference Carolinas play on Friday, January 30, with a home match against King College. The first serve will be at 7:00 PM in the Shaw Athletic Center.
