FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga.—The Men's Basketball team downed Barton on Saturday 83-61 to bring their record to 12-8, and 8-5 in Conference Carolinas.

The first half went back and forth until the Lions took the lead 22-19 on a Steven Gunichard three with 9:31 left in the first half. The Lions were able to continue to expand their lead and never let the bulldogs catch up.

Luke Miller led the team with 21 points, and Michael Stanley added 16. Terrance Polk had two blocks. Polk and Jeremy Burgess each had five rebounds.

The Lions take the court again on Tuesday, Feburary 3rd, in the Shaw Athletic Center at 7:30 PM.
