Box Score Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel College Men's Basketball Team took on the North Greenville Crusaders for their 1st conference game of the season. The Lions wasted no time, taking an early lead and ending the first half 29-18. Some three pointers early in the game from Austin Greene and Steven Guinchard got the ball rolling and the Lions momentum couldn't be stopped. The final score was 65-56, giving the Lions a new overall record of 4-1 and conference record of 1-0.
Emmanuel was led by Zach Lillie with 17 points and 6 rebounds followed by Kurtis Robinson with 12 points and 7 rebounds. The Lions went 40.4% in field goals, 50% in 3pts, and 53.3% in free throws.
The Lions continue action at home Saturday, Dec. 5th as they take on Limestone. Tip off is set for 2:00 PM for women's and 4:00 PM for men's.
