Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel Lions Tennis Team hosted #18 University of North Georgia in a NCAA Regional Match.

The Lions faced tough opponents in both singles and doubles play this Saturday but the duo formed by Lucas Pereira and Juan Carlos Romero got closed to grab a win for the home team, dropping their match by 8-6. In singles play Jorge Canadas and Guillaume Watteeuw also pushed their foes to their limits before falling by 8-6 and 8-5, respectively.

The lions will not take a break this week since they are traveling Friday to Lawrenceville, GA to play at the Grizzly Open, hosted by Georgia Gwinnett College.
