The Emmanuel Lions traveled to Due West, South Carolina to face the defending Conference Carolina Champions of Erskine College on Tuesday.  Hungry for a win after a couple 5 set losses, Emmanuel didn't start the match as planned coming out a little slow and losing the first set trailing by five at the end of the set. 

After making a few strategic moves in the line-up, Emmanuel came back revitalized and was able to win the next three sets to win the match (20-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-22).

Freshman, Don Thompson, led the Lions with 10 kills. Senior, Stephen Diaz, picked up another fantastic 16 digs to help the Lions to victory.

The Lions host Coker College (7-2) on Saturday at 3 PM in the Shaw Athletic Center.
