Colvin's 26 Points Not Enough Against Lenoir-Rhyne

HICKORY, N.C. - Despite the Lions 55.7% shooting percentage behind Senior Kendrick Colvin's 26 points, Lenior-Rhyne came out on top 91-87 on Saturday night.

The Emmanuel men's basketball team battled all night with twelve different lead changes and the largest gap at only five points. While the Lions had a higher field goal percentage, the Bears led in three-point conversions and rebounds. Both teams totaled 16 turnovers, with the Bears having more success scoring off the possession changes.

Colvin led the Lions with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Senior Austin Greene followed behind with 20 points and 4 assists.

The Lions will return to the court in their home opener against Truett-McConnell on Tuesday, November 13th at 7:00pm.
